Instead of showing www.merchantwebsite.com/referralcode, we will have a new URL shown to the potential buyer : www.maskedURL.com. By doing this our potential buyers will never know which is the product owner’s website. So they will come back to the masked URL to do the purchase and our internet profit is protected.
